2004: I started going to the gym at age 13 because of my mum. She was a single mum with 2 kids who’d wake up at 5 am to hit the gym before a 12-15 hour work day.
My mum never forced me to go to the gym. She just acted and I eventually followed her example.
2015: Stopped partying and started focusing on my health which improved my relationships with others and myself.
2016: Started lifting weights again and my self confidence and energy levels rose with my fitness.
